Education payment T&Cs

All bookings are processed in order of receipt. Your booking is confirmed once Sydney Writers’ Festival issues you an invoice.

Bookings for Primary School Days, Secondary School Days and Student Sessions made prior to Friday 2 May 2025 will be eligible to pay a 50% holding deposit. Payment of the holding deposit is due within 14 days of the invoice being issued. The holding deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled after 7 April 2025.

The final balance invoice will be issued on 2 April 2025 and payment is due by Friday 2 May 2025. Early full payment of invoices is welcomed. 

Bookings for Primary School Days, Secondary School Days and Student Sessions made after Friday 2 May 2025 must be paid in full within 72 hours of the invoice being issued.

Any booking change requests must be submitted in writing to education@swf.org.au. Additional seats are subject to availability. 

Sydney Writers’ Festival reserves  the right to add, withdraw, or substitute artists, and to vary the program should the need arise.

Unless stated above, the standard terms and conditions of the Festival apply to Education bookings.
